Its been a crazy few months. I know many of us, including myself have anxieties, unsure of where we are and what our future holds. However, we are so blessed with so many different ways to approach our emotions during this time. We can choose to be resilient during these difficult times or be consumed by fear.

I choose to acknowledge them, the uncertainties, release them, and move forward in creative ways. I want to share one of the cognitive therapies that you can use at home to reduce excessive stress and anxiety.

EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique is based on harnessing the power of Qi using Acupressure points in the body. It is a tapping method on specific acupressure points to help reduce anxiety, stress, and PTSD. Anyone can use this during these difficult times to reduce heightened emotions.

Studies have shown EFT being used effectively to treat war veterans with PTSD. Compared to standard care, the study has shown a significant reduction in stress scores. I want to share how we can use EFT to reduce excessive worry, fear, sleeping problems, and difficulty in concentration during this time.
