About

Hello, my name is Dr. Siatnee Chong (pronounced See-Et-Nee Chong). It is a Chinese name, 張雪妮. What does it mean? Chong = family name. Siatnee = Snowlady, as I was born in winter. In Western astrology, I’m an Aquarius. In Eastern, I am a Fire & Earth-Dragon.

I am a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM). I have a successful practice in Southern California focusing on Women's Health.
After treating thousands of women, I find that education and bringing awareness to the common health conditions women face is a powerful way to help women and enlighten our lives.

This is my platform to share a wealth of information you can use to reduce your PMS, balance hormones, sleep better, reduce stress, and mindfulness techniques that you can use every day.

I’m a spiritual warrior. I start and end my day with mindfulness practice. This is a platform to share wisdom of the mind, body & spirit.

– Siatnee

I grew up with Eastern Medicine as a cornerstone of my family's health. Although I am a woman just like you, I grew up with ancient Eastern Medicine; Chinese Medicine, herbs and Energy Healing. Whether it was a cold, earache, stomach ache or hormonal problems, my family sought expert Chinese medicine help and it worked!

These experiences go as far back as I can remember. They spurred me to have a deep interest in health and wellness from a young age. I’ve been practicing yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, meditation, and mindfulness practice since very young. After earning my Bachelor of Education from the University of Edinburgh, and working in the corporate world, I realized in my heart I have a calling to help people. It got louder and louder until I had to act. I returned to medical school to earn my Masters and Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, along with becoming a Reiki Master. I started my own practice called Chong Medicine in San Diego. My practice has been a successful and very rewarding experience. Nothing feels better than knowing I’ve helped someone have a better day.

90% of my patients are women and they all suffer from the same hormonal problems. They struggle with hormonal imbalances, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), menopause, mood swings, hot flashes, challenges with weight, diet, anxiety, anger, and depression. Does this sound familiar? With that in mind, I have decided to focus all of my energy on women's health. As a woman, I get it. When meeting with friends or people in social events, the same topic keeps coming up over and over. Women's health, hormones, fertility, PMS, and menopause. Lots of women are suffering by trying to balance work, life, family, and their own growth.

The bummer is that there are only 24 hours in a day and I can only see so many patients. Time being the biggest limitation, I cannot help as many women as I wish I could. Wanting to spread my message about women's health and wellness, I realized the best way to do this is to combine all of my education and knowledge and to bring educational courses, programs, and products to a broader audience like you, around the world.

I want to help you live a better life!
